Ranchi: The Jharkhand BJP has launched a campaign to scrutinize the unfulfilled election promises of the Hemant Soren-led state government ahead of the upcoming budget session. Party MLAs and state officials will engage with the public, highlighting the government’s failure to fulfill key commitments, using data to support their claims.
The BJP has specifically targeted the delay in the Maiyaan Samman Yojana, under which financial aid was to be transferred to women’s accounts on the 11th of every month. Additionally, the government had pledged to release the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) recruitment calendar within a month of taking office, a commitment the BJP claims remains unmet.
“We will hold the government accountable for its unfulfilled promises. The public deserves answers on why schemes like Maiyaan Samman Yojana and the JPSC calendar are delayed,” said a senior BJP leader.
To galvanize party workers before the budget session, the BJP plans to intensify its criticism of the government. While the party initially decided to wait for six months, leaders now believe it is time to escalate the political discourse with allegations and counter-allegations.
Last week, BJP’s National Organization General Secretary BL Santosh held a meeting with Jharkhand party leaders, discussing strategies to corner the government. He instructed state leaders to systematically expose the ruling party’s failures with factual data.
With elections approaching, the BJP aims to keep public attention on what it calls the government’s policy failures and lack of implementation. The party is expected to launch a structured campaign in the coming weeks, demanding answers from the state government.
