Jamshedpur: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) concluded its two-day intensive training workshop, the “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikshan Mahabhiyan,” at the Nepali Seva Samiti auditorium in the Golmuri Mandal on Friday. The conclave, which was held in the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency, focused on ideologically empowering party workers and fortifying the organization’s grassroots structure.
The event commenced on Thursday with a ceremonial lamp lighting and floral tributes to party icons Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee by Jamshedpur East MLA Purnima Sahu and senior party leaders.
Strategic Sessions and Digital Innovation
Over the course of two days, the workshop conducted seven comprehensive sessions covering a wide array of organizational and modern political subjects. Key topics included:
- The Evolution of BJP: A deep dive into the party’s history and core values.
- Booth Management: Strategies for strengthening the party’s presence at the local polling station level.
- Modern Outreach: Specialized training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the NaMo App, and the Saral App.
- Social Media Ethics: Maintaining a positive and responsible digital footprint to enhance the party’s image.
- Antyodaya to Saturation: Ensuring the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the very last person in society.
An exhibition showcasing the achievements of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government and major public welfare schemes remained a focal point for attendees throughout the event.
Insights from the Leadership
MLA Purnima Sahu emphasized that the primary goal of such training is to build sensitivity toward society and cultivate a sense of duty among cadres. She urged workers to translate their learning into action by listing local issues and actively participating in their resolution.
State Executive Member Kulwant Singh Bunty highlighted the power of the digital landscape. He noted that active and positive engagement on social media platforms is essential for a modern political organization, urging every worker to use these tools with gravity and responsibility.
Former Chief Minister and senior leader Raghubar Das led a critical session on booth management and the significance of the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. He provided the “mantra” for ground-level strength, urging workers to prioritize discipline and national interest. “Trained workers are the backbone of the party, and their dedication will take the organization to new heights,” Das asserted.
Organizational Participation
The workshop featured former District Presidents Devendra Singh and Rambabu Tiwari, and State Coordinator of the Teachers’ Cell, Dr. Rajiv.
The concluding session saw a large gathering of party office-bearers, including Mandal President Pappu Upadhyay, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, and representatives from the Minority and Youth Wings (BJYM), all of whom committed to taking the party’s policies to the doorstep of every citizen in Jamshedpur.
