Ranchi: State president of Bharatiya Janata Party Ravindra Rai today said the party was going to contest the Jharkhand Assembly election on all seats without entering into alliance with any political party.
Speaking after the core committee meeting of the state BJP held at the party headquarters, the BJP president said the party had decided to hand over a chargesheet to the governor of Jharkhand Dr Syed Ahmad on various issues and failure of the state government on all fronts.
Todays meeting was attended by various party leaders including former Chief Minister Arjun Munda, MLA of Jamshedpur East Raghuvar Das, former MLA of Jamshedpur West Saryu Rai and other office-bearers of the committee.
The party has tasted huge success in the Lok Sabha elections. Now the party expects similar performance in the Assembly elections. The people have reaffirmed their faith in the party. We expect that they cast their vote in favour of our candidates to ensure our landslide win in the Assembly elections, said Rai.
Munda expressed displeasure over the law and order situation in the state. He said the law and order situation had deteriorated in the regime of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and Congress led ruling alliance in the state. He said the people wanted a change of government in the state for their welfare and development.
