Banna Gupta performs Kanya Puja at Kadma residence

Jamshedpur, Oct 16:  Health Minister Banna Gupta and his wife Sudha Gupta performed Kanya Puja on the Mahanavami of Navratri at their residence in Kadma on Thursday. The Minister himself fed the little girls, worshipped as Kanyas in whom Ma Durga manifests Herself and took their blessings.

 Health Minister Banna Gupta, after offering prayers to the girls, Kanyas, said, “My home has been blessed by the holy feet of the little Devis on this auspicious Maha Navami day. The positive energy that they generated and their peals of uninhibited laughter were the blessings Ma Durga poured in my home and filled my heart with joy. Daughters are the basis of happiness, prosperity and progress. Their worship is the best worship. Only through this will this world progress. Respect them, serve them, this is the true worship of Mother Ambey.”

Banna lauds dist administration for ensuring peaceful Durgotsav

Banna Gupta, Minister-in-Charge of 20-point programme of the district, lauded and thanked the district administration for conducting Dussahera in all the puja pandals peacefully. The Minister stated that the cooperation of the district and police administrations and all officials and staff played a major hand in ensuring peace during festivities of Durgotsav. “The effort has been commendable and every individual among them deserves huge thanks.” Deputy Commissioner Arava Rajkamal thanked the Minister-in-Charge on behalf of the entire district administration team. The Deputy Commissioner said that the people of the district cooperated greatly in handling law and order during the festival. The DC said, “The district’s citizens have been cooperative all along. Their spirit of cooperation was to the fore during the critical COVID waves and Durgotsav was no different. We will continue to expect their cooperation in future too.”
