Jamshedpur, August 1: Administrative approval has been granted for the fencing of the Jaherthan and cremation ground of tribals in Babudih (Bhuinyadih) under the Jamshedpur East Assembly constituency. The Minister of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, and Backward Class Welfare Department provided this information in a written response to a short notice question from MLA Saryu Roy in the Assembly.
The government has also approved the recommendations sent by MLA Saryu Roy for the fencing and beautification of over a dozen Jaherthans in the Jamshedpur East area. The projects will commence once the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the lease land was received from Tata Steel and other private companies. The government had instructed the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum to begin the implementation of these plans.
