Ranchi, Jan 20: Applications of ration card holders started coming under “Petrol Subsidy Scheme” from Thursday. ,
With the launch of “CM-SUPPORTS” app by the Chief Minister Hemant Soren yesterday in Ranchi to give benefits to the poor people covered by the National Food Security Scheme or the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme under the “Petrol Subsidy Scheme” for their two-wheelers, ration card holders. Positive feedback has started to emerge.
Within 24 hours of the launch of the app, applications of about 16 thousand people have come under the “Petrol Subsidy Scheme”. So far 656 of Bokaro, 544 of Ranchi, 407 of Lohardaga, 326 of Seraikela-Kharsawan, 289 of Khunti, etc. have been approved under the scheme.
It is to be known that by registering in the CM-SUPPORTS app or http://jsfss.jharkhand.gov.in, the process of giving benefits of the scheme to the ration card holders has started. From 26 January 2022, through the scheme, a subsidy of Rs 25 per liter i.e. Rs 250 per month for a maximum of 10 liters of petrol per month for two-wheelers to the beneficiaries covered by the ration card will be transferred to their bank account through DBT. The Chief Minister will launch the scheme from Dumka on 26 January 2022 and will benefit the beneficiaries who have completed the scheme.
