Jamshedpur: Mango Municipal Corporation launched a campaign against plastic across Mango on Saturday. The MMC officials also carried out trade licence inspection drive today. Sources said the officials seized five kg plastic from different parts of Mango. A sum of Rs 4500 was seized from traders and vendors. The offenders were warned against using, storing or selling the banned single-use plastic. The executive officer of MMC said the vendor and trade licence of offenders would be cancelled if they are found using, storing or selling the banned plastic.
