Jamshedpur, May 3: The Andhra Association Middle School, Kadma, hosted a grand Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2024–25 on the evening of May 3rd. The event began at 6:00 PM and was marked by vibrant cultural performances and recognition of student achievements.
B. Srinivas Sanjay, trustee of Andhra Association, graced the event as the chief guest. He was warmly welcomed and felicitated in the presence of association dignitaries. The program commenced with a welcome song by the students, followed by the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. The guests were honoured with floral bouquets and traditional shawls.
The dignitaries present included Major K. Satyanarayan (President), Y.K. Sharma (General Secretary) and G. Sanyasi Rao (Joint Secretary), who all addressed the gathering with motivational messages. Vice President B. Bapuji introduced the chief guest, while Principal Vinay Kumar presented the school’s annual report.
In his speech, Srinivas Sanjay encouraged students to pursue success through hard work, discipline and dedication. He was also presented with a memento by the institution.
The cultural segment featured a rich variety of performances including Ganesh Vandana, Marathi fusion dance, puppet dance, Kolattam, Sambalpuri folk, a social media skit, Gita Saar and both solo and group dances, leaving the audience spellbound.
Students were honoured for academic, cultural and overall excellence. Monu Pramanik received the “All Round Best Boy” award, while Alisha Parveen was named “All Round Best Girl.”
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt farewell to the outgoing Class 8 students and a vote of thanks by Principal Vinay Kumar.
