Jamshedpur, May 3: S Creativity Yoga institution organized the Yoga Award ceremony at Michael John Auditorium, Bistupur, on Saturday. A total of 70 yoga champions from the city were honoured, most of whom were medal winners at national competitions and the Yoga Olympiad.
Special recognitions were given to Neeli Santra, Nandani Roy, Shaurya Ashish, and Devshree for their outstanding performances. Individuals contributing to culture, education, and social service were also felicitated.
Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy, BJP leader Amarpreet Singh Kale, and Yoga Guru Anshu Sarkar were present as chief guests, along with Prahlad Bhagat, Santoshi Sahu, Sudhir Kumar Sahu, Shubhashish Bahaduri, Ravi Shankar Nemar, and Naveen Chandra Das.
The event featured captivating yoga demonstrations, dance, music, and drama by students and artists, which enthralled the audience. Organization Secretary Sharmishtha Rai extended her gratitude, while Tata Steel Foundation Urban Services played a key role in supporting the event.
