Martial Arts Team Wins Top Honour at NCC Training Camp Finale
Jamshedpur, May 29: The ten-day Combined Annual Training Camp-3, organized by the 37 Jharkhand Battalion NCC at the campus of National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, concluded on Friday with a colourful cultural programme presented by NCC cadets.

Cadets showcased a variety of performances based on Santhali, South Indian, patriotic, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Nagpuri, and Gujarati traditions. Modern performances including Hip-Hop, and martial arts-based acts also drew applause from the audience. The martial arts dance team was awarded the title of “Best Dance Group” during the closing ceremony.

A total of 546 cadets participated in the camp and received training in map reading, cyber security, CPR, discipline, military lifestyle, and the basics of weapon handling.

Director of National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, Prof. Dr. Gautam Sutradhar, attended the programme as the chief guest. Commanding Officer Colonel Vinay Ahuja delivered the vote of thanks and expressed gratitude to the District Civil Surgeon’s Office and NIT for their support.

Deputy Commandant Colonel Prem Chand Jha and other dignitaries were also present.
