Farmer’s Son Ankit Kumar Emerges as ICSE Jharkhand State Topper with 99.4%

Godda: Students from Jharkhand have delivered a stellar performance in the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) examination results released by the board. Ankit Kumar, a student of Mount Assisi School in Poreyahat, Godda district, has secured the first position in the entire state (State Topper) with an outstanding score of 99.4 percent.

Academic Excellence and Subject-wise Scores

Ankit’s historic achievement is marked by near-perfect scores across his subjects:

  • English: 100

  • Science: 100

  • Computer Science: 100

  • HCG (History, Civics & Geography): 99

  • Hindi: 98

Humble Beginnings and Future Goals

A resident of Parsoti village in the Poreyahat block, Ankit comes from a humble background; both his father, Ramesh Chandra Mandal, and mother, Joshna Devi, are farmers by profession. His parents expressed immense joy, noting that Ankit has been serious and disciplined toward his studies from the beginning.

Attributing his success to his parents, teachers, and consistent practice, Ankit has already set his sights on his future career. He shared his ambition to join an IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) to become a skilled engineer and serve the nation.

The school management and local community have lauded his success, stating that his journey from a rural village to the top of the state rankings will serve as an inspiration to other students across the district.
