Jamshedpur, Sep 19: Sundernagar police seized prohibited animal meat from a car on the basis of a tip-off on Monday. The seizure took place near Bhuridih railway level crossing at Sundernagar. Police stopped a car reportedly carrying the meat. The car driver and other animal traffickers escaped from the scene. Cops seized the vehicle and the meat hidden inside.
An FIR was lodged against the car driver and several others in this connection on the information of ASI Dhirendra Narayan Singh.
