Andhra Association holds free health check-up camp for life members

Jamshedpur: As part of its ongoing Centenary Celebrations (1926–2026), Andhra Association, Kadma, organized a Free Health Check-up Camp exclusively for its Life Members on August 31. The camp, held from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Association premises, received an enthusiastic response from members.

The programme was graced by Dr. Om Prakash Pandey, who was warmly welcomed by the Association. A wide range of preventive screenings were provided, including blood tests such as RBS, HbA1c, and TSH, spirometry for lung function, BMI and hand grip assessment, and bone mineral density test to detect early signs of osteoporosis.

Additionally, an Eye Check-up Camp was conducted by TrinetrAm Eye Hospital in collaboration with Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina. Members participated actively and appreciated the initiative aimed at promoting health awareness.

The Managing Committee reaffirmed its commitment to member welfare, emphasizing that preventive care and regular health check-ups were vital. It also assured that such programs will continue in the run-up to the Centenary Year to make the celebrations meaningful for Life Members.
