Jamshedpur Durga Puja: Bhoomi Pujan for Parsudih Haludbani Club’s Durgotsav

Jamshedpur, Aug 31: The Bhoomi Pujan of Shri-Shri Sarvjanik Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, and Kali Puja Committee, Haludbani Club, Parsudih, was performed marking the beginning of festive preparations. The ritual was performed at the Puja Pandal site with full devotion, symbolizing the formal start of arrangements for the upcoming celebrations.

Prominent personalities, including former Zila Parishad Vice President and social worker Rajkumar Singh, current Vice President Pankaj Singha, and District Council member Purnima Malik, performed the Bhoomi Pujan. They extended good wishes to the committee and highlighted the importance of such events in preserving social harmony and cultural heritage.

The event witnessed participation of several local representatives, including former Zila Parishad member Rana De, Gram Pradhan Sagen Hansda, Mukhiya Salge Soren, Suman Sirka, and others. The patron of the Puja Committee is MLA Mangal Kalindi. Committee officials present included President Nirapad Das, Secretary Ranjan Roy, Treasurer Ajit Nandi, along with members Alok De, Gopal Mukherjee, Tinku Bhattacharya, Sandeep Das, Tapan Dutta, Prasenjit Bhowmik, and many others.

The gathering was marked by enthusiasm and community spirit, with active cooperation from local citizens. The Puja Committee formally initiated preparations for Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, and Kali Puja, ensuring that the cultural and devotional traditions were celebrated with grandeur.
