Adivasi hostel lacking facilities

Seraikela: The Adivasi hostel built way back in the year 2006 behind the Varshini High School at Sini has failed to retain Adivasi students.

Ever since its construction, the hostel was run by the welfare department.

The handful of students still living in the hostel alleged that there is acute lack of basic amenities for students such as food, lodging facility and toilets.

In want of these facilities, many students have left the hostel in the last few years, they said.
