Jamshedpur, Feb. 10: Akhil Bhartiya Tailik Sahu Mahasabha will organise its annual get-together cum picnic at Sidhgora Town Hall on Sunday.
Several events and competitions will be held during the day long programme. This was informed by district president of the Mahasabha, Rajkishore Prasad at the press meet held on Friday.
The main attraction of the get-together will be felicitation of parents who have given birth to a girl child. Several old age persons who have worked for the upliftment of the society will also be felicitated at the event.
Meritorious students who scored excellent marks will also be honoured by the society. Several sports competition will be organised for the woman and children.
Chief guest for the occasion will be Jamshedpur MP Vidhut Varan Mahato, former state minister Banna Gupta and others will be present.
At the conclusion of the programme, the members of the mahasabha will launch cleanliness drive giving message of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Also present at the press meet were Mahasabha’s general secretary Shashikant Maharaj, treasurer Kundan Lal Gupta, vice-president Bachu Prasad, Mahila president Rukmani Prasad Sao, general secretary Anita Devi, Youth President Dr. Rishikesh Kumar, Jitendra Prasad and others.
