74th Dharma Saastha Preeti celebrations to start on March 15

Jamshedpur, March 12: The 74^th Sri Dharma Saastha Preeti celebrations will be held from 15^th to 20^th March at Sri Uttara Dharma Saastha Temple, Bistupur. 

P N Sankaran, chairman, Sri Dharma Saastha Temple, briefing about the schedule of celebrations, said, “As part of Sri Dharma Saastha Preeti celebrations, Sankalpa Puja will be held on 14^th March evening wherein sankalp will be taken and blessings will be sought to perform the puja. From 15^th to 18^th March, Maha Ganapati Havan will be held in the morning followed by Rudra Ekadasha Jap, Kalash Sthapana and Kalash puja for Parama Purusha Aradhana will be conducted and Kalash Abhishek will also be performed.  Sree Sookta puja, Vasordhara and poornahuti will be held on all days.”

Sankaran further informed that in the evenings Ved Parayan will be conducted and Sri Bhagwati Seva and Sri Satyanarayan Puja will be performed.  Twelve Veda pundits from Chennai, Mumbai and Hyderabad are arriving here to perform the pujas, he said.

The temple committee president N Rammurthy was also present during the briefing.
