West Bokaro, March 27 : With an objective to provide better healthcare facilities to the people residing in the peripheral villages, Tata Steel Rural Development Society, the CSR wing of Tata Steel organized a one-day mega health camp today at Bhailgarha of West Bokaro under Mandu block of Ramgarh district.
Anand Kumar, Chief, Capacity Enhancement Project, Tata Steel (West Bokaro) inaugurated the one-day free health camp in the presence of Ms Chandramani Devi, Pramukh, Mandu Block, Ms Anjana Devi, Mukhiya, Kedla Central, Colonel Bhawani Singh Nirwan, Head, Stakeholder Management, Tata Steel (West Bokaro) and Mr Keshav Ranjan, Unit Head, TSRDS.
508 patients from Bhailgarha and surrounding villages including Kedla, Basantpur, Jharna Basti, Jonragoda, etc availed health services at the day long Mega Health Camp. In the camp, consultation by specialist doctors from Medicine, ENT, Dental and Gynecology disciplines were provided to the patients along with free medicines. Apart from this, on the spot pathological investigations were also undertaken for proper diagnosis.
Reiterating Tata Steel�s commitment towards the community, Anand Kumar said: �Tata Steel is committed towards the well-being of the people residing in its operational areas. The company will continue to serve the community through healthcare interventions like this.”
6 specialist doctors from Tata Central Hospital, West Bokaro and TSRDS volunteered their services for the camp.
