Jamshedpur: A 48 year-old man, identified as Sapan Dutta, resident of Block B, Kalyan Nagar under Sitaramdera police station area, allegedly committed suicide by hanging self to death in his house late Monday night.
Sources said the relatives of the deceased came to know about the suicide around 10 pm. The deceased used to sell tea and snacks items at a cart near Bhuiyandih Durga Puja ground. He was found hanging dead from the ceiling of his house. He was reportedly not well for the last several days, sources said.
Police registered a case of unnatural death in this connection and sent the body to MGM Medical College for autopsy.
