40-year-old Imambara and Akharas removed in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 15: Tata Steel on Saturday removed the Imambara of Ajju Akhara located in Shastri Nagar, Kadma. A woman living near the arena has also been shifted to another place.

For the last three years, there was talk of shifting the Imambara of Ajju Akhara for the widening of the road in Shastri Nagar. The licensees and other people of Ajju Akhara were not ready for this. But after the recent incident in Shastri Nagar, everyone agreed to shift the Imambara to another place under pressure at the behest of Tata Steel.

After this Tata Steel gave them another place. After this, the Imambara of Ajju Akhara was removed.

Najma Begum, a local woman living near the arena, told that Tata Steel has demarcated the entire area. Tata Steel will make flats here. For this, they were being asked to shift from there. Seeing the atmosphere, now she is ready.

Najma Begum said that she is definitely sad to shift the Imambara, but what can she do. Najma Begum told that the license holder of this arena is Abdul Hameed. This arena was here for 40 years. The Imambara was also here for 40 years.

  1. Consistent Removal of encroachment by a dedicated team of CRPF/Army should continue for another 15 years in the Jamshedpur for city growth, development. Once it is successful, zero disturbances in the town, loss of public property. This town will be like Singapore.👍👍
