Jamshedpur, August 10: C.P. Samiti Middle School conducted an inter school essay writing competition on the topic �Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao� on Monday.
A total of 320 students from 32 different schools participated in the competition. The event was to promote the central govt�s scheme for the promotion of girl child.
Students seemed quite excited with the competition. School Management Committee President Khemlal Choudhary said that like every year we organize essay competition on social issues pertaining in the society. The winners will be felicitated during award function on September 6.
The event was administered by the school committee and was attended by Khemlal Chowdhary, Paramanand Kaushal, Dinesh Kumar, Poonam Vig, Dr. Kalyani, Shukla Mazumdar, Govardhan Das, Manilal Sahu, Surendra Lal, Govind Sinha, Devnarayan, Kanhaiya Devangan, Ajay Kr. Sahu, Ramen Kumar, Uttam Kumar Chowdhary, Jay Kumar, Arun Kumar, Haricharan Singh, Salig Das, Chand Singh, Jai Prakash, Trilochan Kaur, Ravi Shankar Dubey and Rekha.
