Green corridor created from hospital to airport; CM overseeing treatment
Jamshedpur, August 2: Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren was airlifted to Delhi on Friday morning for advanced medical treatment following a serious head injury. A green corridor was created from Tata Motors Hospital to Sonari Airport to ensure his swift transfer to the air ambulance.
The minister reportedly slipped in the bathroom at his Ghorabandha residence in Jamshedpur on Saturday morning, leading to a serious brain injury and a blood clot, according to family members. He was immediately admitted to Tata Motors Hospital for initial treatment.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who is currently in Delhi, is closely monitoring the minister’s condition. He arranged for an air ambulance, which departed from Sonari Airport at 9:30 am with the minister and his family members on board. The Chief Minister is said to be personally overseeing the arrangements for his treatment at a top Delhi hospital.
Jharkhand Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari shared the update on social media, confirming that Minister Ramdas Soren had suffered a head injury with a blood clot and was being flown to Delhi for urgent care. He also expressed his concern and wished the minister a speedy recovery.
The incident has caused concern across the state’s political circles, with many leaders and supporters extending their prayers and support for the minister’s health. Further updates on his medical condition are awaited from Delhi.
