Jamshedpur, Sep 1: The 2nd CISCE National Boxing Championship began at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Thursday.
Dayanand Public School Principal welcomed all. Rakhi Banerjee, Principal, Rajendra Vidyalaya and Organising Secretary delivered the welcome address.
On the occasion welcome dance and Ganesh Vandana was presented by students Dayanand Public School.
Hill Top School students presented a dance titled “Patriotism through Pugilism”.
Sujoy Ghosh, Chief Observer of the event and Christopher Francis, Regional Secretary, ASISC also graced the occasion.
Sujoy Ghosh is the Principal and Director of Rammohan Mission High School, Kolkata. A keen sports lover, he is a member of East Bengal Club, Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) and Calcutta Rowing Club.
Chief Guest for the event K Vijay Shankar, City SP, Jamshedpur addressed the gathering and declared the meet open.
