Jamshedpur, April 11: Sidgora police raided near Harijan Basti on Monday night and arrested a youth with brown sugar. The arrested youth Akash Mukhi alias Tannu is a resident of Harijan Basti. Police has recovered a total of 55 pudias of brown sugar from him.
The police had received a tip-off that some youths were selling brown sugar in the area. After getting the information, the police formed a team and reached the spot to raid. Seeing the police, the youth present on the spot started running. The police chased Akash and caught him. During the search, the police recovered a total of 55 bags of brown sugar and Rs 2,855 from Akash’s pocket. The police have sent Akash to judicial custody.
