Chaibasa, Aug 24: Commissioner of Kolhan Region, Dr Manish Ranjan today formally inaugurated the Pillay Hall in Chaibasa in the presence of the west Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Arava Rajkamal and other dignitaries.
The main purpose in present times is ensuring proper education to students during the worldwide COVID–19 pandemic times. Selection of teachers to impart education subject-wise as per JAC syllabus and provision of study material to students by making appropriate videos is the reason that makes the renovated 100 year old Pillay Hall auditorium more significant. The stage will be used as the recording studio. The subject-wise videos will be uploaded on YouTube channel for students of Jharkhand including those of Kolhan Region to keep in touch with their studies. The courses will be taken up by teachers in a very simplified manner so that the teavching learning process is simplified.
All precautions of social distancing will be taken while recording the videos. A minimum distance of six feet will be maintained among the teacher, videographer and editor during the recording sessions. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Sadar Regional Officer Paritosh Kumar Thakur, DEO Nirja Kujur, DES Anil Chowdhury, Dist Nazarath Officer Ravi Kumar and members of the Pillay Hall management committee.
