Magistrate and police officers posted at seven check posts in Seraikela

Seraikela: In view of growing Corona infection, the Seraikela district administration has once again geared up to control the situation. A check post has been made at the seven main gates of the entry into the district, following the instructions given by the Chief Secretary, Jharkhand government through video conferencing. The magistrate and police officials have been deputed for the smooth functioning.

Seraikela Deputy Commissioner Iqbal Alam Ansari has said in his directive issued in this regard that the list of individuals coming from other states will be made available to civil surgeons and all block development officers after being registered on the portal of Jharkhand. Along with this, the Block Development Officer and Medical In-charge of all blocks will investigate such persons by ensuring 14-day home quarantine.

Thermal scanning will be done at all check posts. And only those who have made an entry pass by a deputed magistrate and police officer will be given entry. In this, the Deputy Commissioner has given instructions to strictly check those who enter the district from other states through ambulances. It is stated that all the concerned departments will work jointly to control the effect of corona infection in the district with mutual coordination.
