Youth shot dead in Jamshedpur, locals hand assailant to the police


Jamshedpur, Dec. 5: In a shocking incident on Saturday evening, a youth was shot dead at Olidih in Mango. After being shot, the murderer attempted to flee from site but the locals nabbed him, and handed him over to the police after a heavy bashing. He is undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital.

According to the information, this incident took place around 6 pm near Birsa Chowk under Olidih of Mango.

According to locals, the deceased Anup Kumar Sureka alias Pappu Marwari was standing near Birsa Chowk. Meanwhile, a young man named Sanatan Lohar reached there and shot him after a little murmur. The locals rushed the injured Pappu Marwari to the hospital, where he died.

City SP Subhash Chandra Jat said that a youth named Pappu Marwari has been shot. The accused is being questioned by the police.

According to the information, the accused shot Pappu Marwadi and killed him due to old rivalry. It is said that there was a dispute between the two about gambling and since then he was looking for an opportunity.

All are applauding the courage of Rika Kalundia, who caught the culprit.

The police along with the locals are also appreciating her courage.

Rika Kalundia told that his wife sells Indian liquor  in Birsa Road. He said that Pappu also used to come there often. He used to sit quietly in the chair and kept looking at the mobile. He had nothing to do with anyone. Suddenly he was shot, then he could not understand anything. After being shot, the killer escaped from there.

Rika Kalundia ran to nab him. On reaching the street, the shooter started sit on the bike and looking at him. Rika said that he caught him. He also got hurt in the tussle. He was treated at MGM Hospital.
