Jamshedpur: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) marked a significant milestone with the celebration of its annual Graduation Nite on the evening of January 16, 2026, at the school campus. The event formally bid farewell to the outgoing Batch of 2026, celebrating the successful completion of their academic journey and years of disciplined learning and personal growth.
The ceremony was graced by Professor (Dr.) Goutam Sutradhar, Director of NIT Jamshedpur, who attended as the Chief Guest. Addressing the graduating students, Dr. Sutradhar emphasized the importance of innovation, critical thinking, and the role of youth in nation-building. He encouraged students to remain curious, adaptable, and socially responsible as they step into higher education and professional life. He also presented Special Awards to students for outstanding achievements.
A key highlight of the evening was the distribution of mementos to students from Classes 12A, 12B, and 12C, recognizing their individual qualities, contributions, and character. The programme also featured a heartfelt address by the parent of Abhinav Solanki (XII A) and encouraging words from faculty member Balaka Dutta.
Chairman Akhilesh Kumar Dubey, Honorary General Secretary Dr. D.P. Shukla, and Anurag Agnihotri addressed the gathering, sharing guidance and best wishes with the graduates. Academic Excellence Awards were presented by the Chairman, while Cabinet and Club Awards were conferred by Dr. Shukla.
Aniket Das of Class 12A emerged as the standout achiever, receiving the prestigious Viraj Trophy along with the Principal’s Award for his exceptional all-round performance.
