Jamshedpur: Youth Congress members have come forward in support of auto-rickshaw drivers of Parsudih agriculture market who are agitating in support of their demand for a hike in transportation charges. Terming the demand for a hike in transportation charges as justified, the state Youth Congress secretary Rakesh Sahu said the auto-rickshaw drivers have demanded a hike of Rs 5 per quintal on goods for all routes. He said the demand should be fulfilled in view of the inflationery market. He said the party activists would block the main gate of Parsudih Mandi in case the demand is not fulfilled by Thursday.
