Jamshedpur, Nov 29: Entrepreneurship Cell of XLRI hosted first Startup Conclave on Saturday, October 29 at Tata Auditorium.
The event was resounding success and saw participation of more than 450+ students from schools and universities across Jharkhand.
Leaders from a myriad range of sectors and backgrounds in the entrepreneurial space graced the event.
After the inauguration by the Dean of Academics, Dr Sanjay Patro, and faculty, the event kickstarted with a talk by Gaurav Anand, Founder of Swachhata Pukare Foundation. He talked about how his organization used to clean up rivers from the water hyacinth which was further used for producing sustainable ethnic fashion for women.
Saurabh Kothari, founder of Studybuzz conducted an interactive knowledge-sharing session to enlighten students about popular ventures and their keys to success.

Next, Rashmi Saha, founder of Mukty Mission, gifted the attendants the pearls of wisdom that helped her be a successful entrepreneur in the face of patriarchy.
Yogesh Shinde of Bamboo India fame who won investment in Shark Tank India took us on a journey of how and why Bamboo India was conceived. With almost 60,000 brushes produced every day, Bamboo India is slowly and steadily on the path to replacing plastic toothbrushes in India.
Rahul Pasari, currently an active member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and serving as Yuva Chair at Young Indians (Yi) also talked to the students to instill an entrepreneurial spirit in them.
Lastly, Prof. Atanu Ghosh of XLRI, an entrepreneur and an avid investor talk about the positive impact of tech startups on small businesses.
