Jamshedpur, May 30: Rowers from the Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) Rowing Academy delivered an impressive performance at the Lake School Rowing Regatta held in Kolkata from May 25 to 30, winning a total of five medals in indoor and outdoor rowing events.

In the indoor rowing (ergo) events, Shreya Kumari won the gold medal in the Junior Girls category, while Suklal Tudu secured a bronze medal in the Senior Boys category.
The academy continued its strong showing in the outdoor events as well. Suklal Tudu and Pradip Kumar Mahato won the gold medal in the Senior Boys Double Scull event. In the Junior Girls Double Scull event, Shreya Kumari and Sweta secured the silver medal.

The Junior Girls Coxless Four team comprising Mimansha, Chitra, Avya and Muskan won the bronze medal.
Officials said the achievements reflect the hard work and dedication of the athletes, coaches and support staff of the TSAF Rowing Academy. The results also highlighted the growing strength of the academy’s rowing programme and the contribution of JCAPCPL, the sports development partner of TSAF Rowing Academy.

The academy remains committed to nurturing young talent and preparing athletes for success at state and national-level competitions.

The overall medal tally included two gold medals, one silver medal and two bronze medals across indoor and outdoor events, taking the total medal count to five.
