Workshop held on environment conservation

Jamshedpur: A one day workshop on the rehabilitation of displacement victims was held at Paryavaran Chetna Kendra in Bada Sikdi of Potka on Friday. Many suggestions were given by the participants for protecting water, forest, land and the people. The director of Paryavaran Chetna Kendra, Sidheswar Sardar, said the government should focus its endeavours on conserving natural resources and saving the environment. He stressed on public participation to save the world from hazardous human activities.
Among those present during the programme included Basanti Sardar, Savitri Hansda, Aarti Hansda, Mayno Murmu, Laxmi Alda and Manohar Bari.
