Jamshedpur, May 21: A 26 year-old woman was raped by her neighbour in Galudih police station area in the wee hours of Saturday, police said.
Cops said an FIR has been registered against the accused who is absconding after the incident. The incident took place around 1 am when the victim was sleeping with her two kids in her house. The victim had kept the doors of her room open due to hot weather. The accused suddenly barged into the house and went into the victim’s room. He raped her and escaped before she could raise an alarm, said Roshan Khakha, officer-in-charge of Galudih PS.
