Jamshedpur, November 15:. Rai Muni Tiyu, a 53-year-old woman, committed suicide by hanging herself in Kochakuli of Haludbani under Parsudih police station.
On Wednesday morning, some people found him hanging with the help of a bamboo tied for painting in a nearby semi-built government school.
People of the colony informed Haludbani mukhiya Salge Soren and local Panchayat Samiti member Raina Purti about this.
They in turn informed the police, after which the police reached the spot.
It is being told that Rai Muni Tiyu had no relatives, hence she used to live in the school premises and earn her living by begging. The Panchayat Samiti member told that Rai Muni’s husband had already died and she had no children. Earlier she used to live in Sonari but recently she was living in Haludbani.
