Heavy vehicles prohibited in Jamshedpur during chhath festivity

Security arrangements at river ghats, divers, IRB to be deployed

Jamshedpur, November 15: Strict security arrangements are being made in the city regarding the, Chhath festival.

 The district administration has started preparations.

Watch towers are being built at Chhath Ghats, so that no one faces any problem. There will be a ban on any type of vehicles going to Chhath Ghats. Trucks or other vehicles carrying devotees will be stopped before Chhath Ghat.

The SSP has ordered that there should not be any kind of slope in the place where heavy vehicles are parked, arrangements for this will be made by the policemen posted there and vehicles will not be allowed to park at the sloping place.

Similarly, IRB is being deployed at Chhath Ghats. Along with this, there will be no entry of heavy vehicles in the city for two days.

Changes are also being made in the traffic system regarding Chhath. Extensive preparations have been made for this. According to the outline being prepared, there will be movement of heavy vehicles from both sides till 9 am on November 18.

 Heavy vehicles will not ply from 7 am on November 19 to 11 am on November 20 and there will be no entry.

After that, on November 20, from 3 pm to 5 pm, heavy vehicles will be allowed to operate only to exit the city.

Regarding law and order, police force will be deployed at every Chhath Ghat of Jamshedpur. Apart from this, divers are also being deployed at every Chhath Ghat.

For this, the danger zone will be marked first. After this, balloons will be placed there to indicate the danger zone.

There will be divers at every ghat and their contact numbers will be kept at the control room. Divers will be sent there in any adverse circumstances. Changes will also be made in the traffic around the river. There will be changes in the traffic arrangements in the areas around the Swarnarekha River Ghat in Mango. H

Along with this, two-wheelers will not be allowed on the route of Chhath fasts.
