Jamshedpur: The weeklong summer camp organized at Jusco School, South Park, Bistupur, came to conclusion on Friday. The closing ceremony was graced by Vandana Mathur, core committee, SAFE, who was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
AF Madon, administrator, JEM Foundation, was also present during the programme. Not only students but parents too, participated in various events such as handwriting and computer workshops. Altogether 54 students participated in the summer camp where early mornings started with yoga to infuse fitness and power of spiritual healing in students.
Moral values and emotions were stimulated through dramas of Pariksha and Jaise Ko Taisa in a theatre workshop. Scientific concepts were made clear with simple and engaging toy making in the science appreciation workshop.
Children learnt to appreciate the beauty and creativity through art, craft and origami.
Other lessons taught to students included easy cooking without fire, tattoo making and vocal singing.
The major attraction of the summer camp was webpage designing wherein children used their imagination and creativity to design their own website.
The most enthralling presentation was the fashion show based on the theme of �Bridal Collection� and �cool summers� where children displayed their tenderness through dynamism and elegance.
After the conclusion of the summer camp, students were awarded with certificates of appreciation.
