We will not let Jharkhand bow down: Kalpana Soren

Giridih, March 21: Kalpana Soren, wife of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, said that Jharkhand is developing rapidly. The people in power in Delhi are not able to digest this.

She alleged that Centre hatched a conspiracy and sent former CM Hemant Soren to jail, so that the development of the state gets blocked.

“But we will fight against these conspiracies, we will take the state forward and not let Jharkhand bow down under any circumstances,” said Kalpana Soren while addressing JMM workers at Dhumadih ground in Bengabad of Giridih district on Thursday.

Kalpana Soren said that the respect from JMM workers shows how much affection they have for Hemant Soren.

“Every worker along with his family members are saddened by Hemant Soren going to jail. There are tears in his eyes. But there is no need to shed tears, there is a need to build strength by handling it. The state was created after great difficulties, now it is our responsibility to improve it,” said Kalpana.

Kalpana Soren said that sisters and daughters from every house will have to come forward.

“The central government is ignoring the state demand on every issue as they do not have a government here. The time has come to respond sternly in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” she said.

She said that the historical ground of Dhumadih has been the workplace for the JMM organization. From here Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and former MLA Late Salkhan Soren had started strengthening the organization and party workers should take an oath from this ground that they will foil the conspiracies of the opposition through voting.

Rajya Sabha MP Sarfaraz Ahmed said that the Hemant government has implemented countless welfare schemes for the people of the state. In this series, many schemes were launched in Gandey assembly constituency also. The work which was not done in 20 years, was done in just four years of Hemant’s tenure. The opposition did not like this and worked to implicate Hemant Soren as part of a conspiracy. The public will strongly teach a lesson to such forces in the elections.

In the meeting with JMM workers in Dhanaydih of Giridih block, Kalpana Soren discussed many issues with them.
