Jamshedpur: The non-availability of water in Anand Bihar-Bhubaneshwar Sampark Kranti Express on 24th June last after passing through Tatanagar railway station has led the Railway Board authorities to initiate a departmental inquiry. The Board authorities want to find out as to whose slackness led to the non-availability of water in the bogies of Sampark Kranti Express.
The train had arrived at Tatanagar station on platform number 1 and departed after 15 minutes. Despite its stay, the train was not supplied with water by the officials concerned, sources said. The Board officials had informed the South Eastern Railway zone authorities about shortage of water and sought to initiate an inquiry in this connection.
