Gamharia, Oct. 28: Seraikela-Kharsawan district Kho Kho team that registered commendable performance at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, at the 35th Junior National Kho Kho competition from October 21 to 25 received warm welcome on their arrival here.
Seraikela-Kharsawan district boys� team stood sixth while girls� team ranked 17th at the meet. Altogether 32 teams various states in the country participated in the competition.
The Seraikela-Kharsawan district Kho Kho team comprised Susan Hembram, Ravi Murmu, Sunil Hembram, Ajit Soren, Badal Poddar, Chotu Hansda, Mangal Svanyan, Rakesh, Virsinh Hansda, Raju Sardar, Balram Hansda etc.
Both teams returned along with Kho Kho Association secretary Akhileshwar Prasad, Suresh Narayan Chaudhary, coach and manager Lakhan Murmu Svanyan Umesh Soren and Vinita.
