Voters� awareness campaign launched in Ghatsila colleges

Jamshedpur, Nov 8: A voters� awareness campaign was launched in several colleges of Ghatsila block on Friday. The colleges included Swami Vivekananda B.Ed College, Jaminikant B.Ed College, Engineering College, Ghatsila College, BDSL Women�s College, Maryland Engineering College and Maa Rankini ITI College. Young voters were informed about cVIGIL App and also introduced to electronic voting machines (EVMs) and VVPAT machines. First time voters were asked to fill Form 6 for addition of their names in the electoral roll. An exhibition of EVMs and VVPATs also took place in the presence of students. An appeal was made to the students to use the cVIGIL App to register their complaints during elections.

The campaign organizers included Patit Pawan Ghosh, Dilip Kumar Barik, Tarak Sao, Gaurav Raj Gupta, Asharam Mahato, Piyush Kumar Mandal and Neeraj Shukla.
