Gamharia: The villagers of Bondih, Gamharia, repaired a 500 long patch of a road through community work. They contributed to the repair work by leveling the road and removing stones lying underneath.
They said they had raised the demand for repair of the road several times, but no action was taken by the administration officials concerned.
Disappointed by the response of the officials, the villagers eventually decided to repair the road on their own.
