Seraikela, Dec 4: Two vehicles rammed into a stationary truck on the state highway near Seraikela block office on Sunday. The mishap reportedly occurred due to fog, sources said.
Sources said the mishap occurred around 5.30 am when it was still foggy outside. A dumper was parked on the roadside. Just then, a bike hit the truck at high speed and got badly damaged. Luckily, the biker was unhurt. After five minutes, a truck carrying iron ore from Barbil rammed into the stationary truck. The speeding truck was damaged in the incident. Its driver somehow came out of the vehicle.
Police reached the scene after sometime and removed the mangled vehicles with the help of crane. The victims told cops they could not see the truck due to fog.
