Jamshedpur, Oct 8: Unidentified�persons made away with Rs. 9 lakh in cash kept in a parked car inside the Bank of Baroda Campus under Bistupur Police Station on Thursday.
The thieves broke the glass of a luxury car and took away the cash kept in a bag in the rear seat. According to police, victim Sunil Agarwal, a businessman based in Jugsalai had come for some banking work and had parked the vehicle inside the bank campus.
When he returned after completing the work he found one of the glasses broken and suspected something faulty and he found that the cash bag was nowhere to be seen and he tried to search the bag but it was of no use.
He later moved to Bistupur Police Station and registered a case against the unidentified.
Police has started investigating the matter and is also looking after the CCTV footage near the bank premises.
