Jamshedpur, August 14: Tata Main Hospital (TMH) regularly organises knowledge sharing sessions which help the doctors get better acquainted with world class practices.
The Department of Surgery TMH on Friday organised a guest lecture by Dr Manish Choudhary a Surgeon from UK in the hospital auditorium. He spoke on Ulcerative Colitis in front of more than 100 doctors of TMH .
The lecture was chaired by Dr Sunil Kumar HOD Surgery. There was good interaction and it was very useful. Dr Choudhary would be interacting with DNB residents in Surgery for 2 hours in the evening. It would be great training and teaching opportunity for young surgeons.
Dr Manish Choudhary is working as Surgeon and specializes in Colo Rectal Surgery. He dwelled on various signs and symptoms of the disease.
He also discussed the various treatment options of disease. The disease if not treated properly can be life threatening.
He emphasized the importance of team approach for optimal management of ulcerative colitis.
