Tata Motors bags CII Energy Conservation award

Jamshedpur, August 14: Tata Motors Ltd. Jamshedpur was declared winner of the prestigious Annual Energy Conservation award organized by CII (eastern region) in Kolkata. The event took place on Wednesday August 12, 2015.

Tata Motors Ltd. won the award in the ‘Large Scale Industries’ category. The award ceremony saw the presence of industries from the states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal.

All displayed their techniques in conservation of energy but the award for the year 2014-15 was grabbed by Tata Motors Ltd. of Jharkhand.

The award was handed over to the winner by Aloke Mookherjea, chairman of Flakt India Ltd. & former chairman of CII (ER). A.B.Lal (Head of Jamshedpur plant), Manoj Ram (DGM), Mukteshwar Verma (AGM) and Mayank Tomer received the award on behalf of Tata Motors.

Earlier this month TML Jamshedpur had won the award based on application & final presentation at the CII in Kolkata on August 1, 2015.
