Jamshedpur, August 14: On the eve of 69th Independence Day celebration, Patriotic poems competition was organized in Part 1 Mass Communication department of Karim City College. 60 students of part 1 participated and presented poems in Hindi and English.
Judges for the event were famous Urdu writer Manzar Kaleem and writer Dr. Vijay Sharma. Sakshi Singh, Vishaka Kumari, Aman Raj & Anmol, Deeksha Priyadarshi, Koustav Kumar Sarkar & Pragya Singh.
On the occasion Dr. Vijay Sharma said that to be a good speaker one has to have focus on its language, spellings and pronunciation.
The contest was hosted by Dr. Neha Tiwary, HOD Mass Communication.
To make the event successful Dr. C Bhaskar Rao, Nida Zakaria, Syed Sajid Parvaiz, Farzana Begum and others played vital role.
