Two Tata Motors employees injured in rival groups clash

Jamshedpur, Sep 10: Two employees of Tata Motors were seriously injured when a clash broke out between members of two rival groups of Tata Motors Limitedís Driveline Workerís Union.

The incident took place inside the premises of TML Drivelines, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Limited under Telco police station area on Wednesday morning while both the injured were admitted to Tata Motors Hospital. Both sides have lodged an FIR against each other Telco police station. The injured were identified as Kamal Sen and SN Singh.

According to sources, Kamal Sen has sustained serious injuries and his condition remained critical till the news was written down.

The incident took place when Kamal Sen, who is a member of the union belonging to Chandra Bhan Singh group, was trying to convince workers about the trade union-related matter ended up in a hot talk.

Soon members of rival Ram Narayan Sharma group including RK Singh and a group of 12 other members arrived at the scene and started beating Kamal Sen, resulting him to sustain serious injuries. Later the injured was taken to Tata Motors Hospital for treatment.

FIR was lodged by both the groups at Telco Police Station while Chandra Bhan Singh, president of Telco Workers’ Union demanded a thorough investigation into the matter.
