Jamshedpur: Lions Club of Jamshedpur Tatanagar which has recently set up an example by inducting Atul Ranjan Sahay, a visually challenged person as a member of their Club, are now getting many helping hands ready to reach out to community at large to bring smile in the face and joy in the life of those who are under privileged or unprivileged.
Prabhakar Singh, President of Hoteliers Association of Jamshedpur and Anil Khemka, one of its Executive Member joined Lions Clubs of Jamshedpur Tatanagar and have been inducted into the Club Board too. Prabhakar Singh has been made the Second Vice President of the Club while Anil Khemka will be one of the Directors of the Club. Both their membership have been sponsored by Lion Rajnish Kumar, Second Vice District Governor (Elect) who also belongs to the same club. Recently Mithliesh Kumar, Commercial Tax Officer was installed as the Club President, while Sushma Rani Lenka, Principal of Prem Jyoti Prangan School as the Secretary of the Club.
Both Prabhakar and Anil are former Lion Club members and had taken the break in between due to their other commitments. Their joining will help the Lions Clubs in taking forward one of their international programme – “Relieving the Hunger” amongst people living in semi urban area and slums in and around Jamshedpur.
