Anganbari centre under scanner

Chandil: An anganbari centre is being constructed in Chawlibasa under Chandil block. But unfortunately the anganbari sevika is not aware of it.

Asked about the construction work, the sevika Purnima Mahato said she was ignorant about the work, fund allotted and the contractor who was building the centre.

Local residents alleged that the way the anganbari centre is being constructed gives rise to suspicion about the intentions of the contractor.

They said the district administration authorities concerned should take proper care to ensure quality construction of the anganbari centre.
