Several trains cancelled, short-terminated due to NI work at Ranchi

Jamshedpur, Jan 7: Railway authorities have announced the cancellation and partial modification of several passenger trains due to Non-Interlocking (NI) works at Ranchi junction.

The changes will remain in effect from January 8 to January 14, causing inconvenience to daily commuters and long-distance passengers on key routes of the South Eastern Railway zone.

As per the official notice, Train No. 58033/58034 (Bokaro Steel City–Ranchi–Bokaro Steel City) has been completely cancelled for the entire period.

Similarly, Train No. 18602/18601 (Hatía–Tatanagar Express) and Train No. 68035/68036 (Tatanagar–Hatía MEMU Passenger) will also remain cancelled from January 8 to January 14.

In addition, Train No. 63598 (Asansol–Ranchi MEMU Passenger) will be short-terminated at Muri, while Train No. 63597 (Ranchi–Asansol MEMU Passenger) will be short-originated from Muri during the same period.

Apart from these, Train No. 18113/18114 will also remain cancelled between January 8 and January 14, 2026.

Railway officials have advised passengers to check the latest train status before commencing their journey and make alternative travel arrangements to avoid inconvenience during the NI work period.
